MINSTER, Ohio – Garmann/Miller recently added five professionals to its full-service architectural
and engineering firm. Interior designer Karrie Buehler, electrical designer Ashley Minton and
architect Eric Schmiesing are based in Minster, while interior designer Arica Paisley and designer
Carrie Walti are serving clients from GMAE’s Columbus office.
“We’re excited to have our new teammates on board,” said CEO Eric Baltzell, PE. “They share a
commonality in that each of their skill sets is fresh and modern yet highly detail-oriented, which is
essential in building design.”
Buehler has worked in firms from high-end residential to retail and commercial. In addition to her
professional experience, she also served as an instructor at Columbus College of Art & Design.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Ringling College of Art & Design.
Minton is an electrical engineering graduate of West Virginia University who is contributing to the
design of power systems and facility lighting.
Schmiesing, a Minster native and graduate of The Ohio State University and Illinois Institute of
Technology, spent the past six years in Chicago, most recently employed by bKL Architecture.
Paisley is a graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design who worked for Dallas- and
Washington, D.C.-based firms before returning to Ohio’s capital city.
Walti is an experienced designer who graduated from Columbus State Community College with
an associate degree in Applied Science of Architecture.
Now in its 26th year, Garmann/Miller employs 59 team members in architecture; plumbing,
mechanical and electrical engineering; interior design; landscape architecture; graphic design;
technology design and construction administration.
