The band has been striving to achieve that brilliant vision for almost three decades. Along the way, we’ve been part of Pittsburgh’s rebirth as a prosperous cultural center. We’re part of Pittsburgh’s past, present, and future.
Rather than performing at a single concert hall, as many music organizations do, the River City Brass instead takes its concerts to venues across Western Pennsylvania in the neighborhood where people live and work.
This model, which is unique among American professional performing ensembles, makes it possible for many patrons to attend concerts who would otherwise be unable.
